Dr. Christopher Michaelis

Dr. Christopher Michaelis is a board-certified emergency physician that has focused on Wound Care since 2016. He attended medical school at Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine. He then did his internship at St. Luke’s Hospital in Allentown Pennsylvania followed by a three-year emergency medicine residency in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He practiced emergency medicine for eight years before focusing on the specialty of Wound Care. Dr. Michaelis has been a great advocate for educating physicians and the medical community about innovations in Wound Care and advancing the practice of wound healing and prevention.
